Flamebreak door blanks are manufactured with a three layer tri-laminated hardwood lumber core which is continuously edge glued. The lightweight three layer core is suitable for easy machining and door blank conversion and fabrication.

Flamebreak lightweight door blanks are manufactured as blanks for conversion into door sets. The Flamebreak product is supplied un-lipped or lipped and can be laminated, painted or veneered. FSC certified blanks are available.

FD60 fire rating tested in accordance with BS 476-22
U – Value 0.9 W/m2k in accordance with Building Regulations Approved document “L”

Mechanical / Severe Duty Rating – exceeding the minimum requirements of DD171 and BSEN 1192 for “Severe Duty” performances.

FSC Certified Flamebreak available.

Third-party certification involves an independent assessment declaring that specified requirements pertaining to a product, person, process or management system have been met.

Third party certification provides reassurance that the product is produced to the same specification and quality as that originally tested, and that the original test behaviour is reliably maintained.

The Flamebreak range of products are part of the Third Party Exova BM TRADA Q Mark and BWF Certifire membership schemes which are accredited by UKAS.
